How to read these records

Dissolved is not struck off

A company can leave the register in two ways. It can be wound up by a liquidator and then dissolved: those are the companies listed here. Or it can be struck off the register without a liquidation: those are not.

How it ended

Members' voluntary: the company was solvent and its shareholders closed it. Creditors' voluntary: it could not pay its debts and was wound up without a court order. Compulsory: a court ordered it.

What the record does not say

The date of dissolution, the name of the liquidator, and how many people the company employed.

What is not here

Names of liquidators, directors or any individual. Companies whose last annual return is older than 2015. Struck-off companies. Sole proprietorships and partnerships.
